FUN FALL TIME AT THE CORNMAZE

A couple of weekends ago we headed out to BLUEBELL, UT...it is an hour away from Vernal. There is this great farm that has a CORNMAZE and lots of "in the country" types of activites...we also went on a wagon ride to the PUMPKIN PATCH and picked out some pumpkins. It was a fun day. We went with family and family friends...we are so HAPPY to have family and friends living close to us!

BRAGGING MOM

Okay I just have to brag for a second...Whitney, who is in the 6th grade came home the other day with some national math test score...AND it was AWESOME!!! The test results say that she is on the same math level as a 9th grader in the first month of school! I am so proud of her, she has the best study habits and is such a responsible student! I am such a proud mommy! :) And by the way I also have pics of the cornmaze that I will hopefully have up by next week!

NATIONAL BOSS'S DAY

I thought this picture was worth sharing...I will admit it is a little embarrassing, well at least to me. Let's put it this way I would not make a good looking guy! At work we decided for boss's day that we would dress up like our boss. We went out and bought some wigs and from there it got ridiculous! The wigs had long hair so we had to trim them up a bit and then with the extra hair we used for facial hair. How do you put fake facial hair on? When your at work and don't have a drawer full props, you have to think like MacGyver...our solution was to use a non-toxic glue stick...yes it worked. Anywho our boss thought it was great...I think he was not too sure what to think when he first walked in and we were all sitting at our desks looking ridiculous. WELLL...there is no way that you can eat with facial hair, sorry guys, not worth it. Didn't want hair in my sandwich. We went to pull the hair off and it felt like you were waxing your face. The worst part is we had put glue in our eyebrows, it took a while to get that out! Overall...we thought we were pretty freaking hilarious!

DRYFORK CANYON (Part 2)

DRYFORK CANYON

Well it was maybe going to be snowing today, I am so not ready for the cold! So far it hasn't snowed...I just hope we can make it to Halloween...then let it fall! The kids were going crazy and needed to get out of the house. So I was just going to take them to the park, but it was closed. We decided to keep driving out towards Dryfork canyon...it's was only another 10 minutes from where we were. I was a little worried that it would be too cold, but the closer we got, the nicer it seemed. We stayed out there for about 45 minutes, we found a great trail...it was so beautiful with all the leaves changing colors! I was able to get some great pictures of the kids! We will definately be making more trips up there, it is amazing what nature can do for the soul!

THE PARK

We decided to go to the park before it get's too cold!
