BROOKIE'S BABY SHOWER WEEKEND

I went to Salt Lake this weekend to go to Brooke's babyshower! When I got there Friday night there was creepy fog over the entire city...I am use to fog in Oregon, but Salt Lake...Crazy! Brooke, Jake, Courtney and I went out to dinner at an Asian restuarant...I wasn't sure how it was going to be (I was feeling a little sick)...but I ordered some Pad Thai and it was delicious! The next day we headed out to Logan...the baby shower was at Jake's parents home. Brooke will have lots of pics from it...Michelle (Jake's mom) did an amazing job decorating for it. It is so fun to see my sister pregnant and watching her get so excited about her first baby! I am so excited for her and can't wait to see what this little baby will look like.

Sisters! At the baby shower!

Michelle had the fireplace decorated like a clothes line with little shoes and clothes hanging from it...so adorable! The whole place was pink, pink and more pink...so fun!

Cute little desserts!

I was suppose to go home Saturday night, but the weather was pretty nasty...so I stayed over at Brookie's...so this was Sunday morning Sister Shoot before I left. I love Brookie! She is such a good sister and a great friend! I am lucky to have her in my life....well I can say that for all of my sisters...okay and my brother! Don't want to leave anybody out! It was a very fun weekend!

CHRISTMAS 2008

Wow! Where does the time go? Finally uploaded a few random Christmas pictures to share! It has been so COLD here that we haven't been out much...and I just haven't been feeling up to taking pictures lately...the morning sickness is starting to diminish slowly...Oh and I went to my doctors appt last week and I am 12 weeks along this week and my due date is July 28th! The doctor said I would be able to go have my ultrasound between Feb 25th and March 5th...I can't wait to find out what I am having...pretty much everybody I know that is pregnant is having girls...only one boy that I know of. I will honestly be happy with either...Enoch would like a girl....Alex would like a little brother, Whitney would like a little sister, and Kaden would like a little brother...well as long as he doesn't have to share a room (too bad for him...because if it is a boy he will be sharing.) Whitney wants to share a room with the baby if it is a girl...she is so cute!

Roxy gets a little sweater for Christmas...she is a little furball...anybody want a pet?

Whitney opened her Christmas Eve PJ's...and was like mom "Purple"...I didn't realize she despised the color so strongly...but she was still thankful and wears them all the time. :)

This was the cutest thing ever! Whitney and Kaden had written this letter to us with free massage coupons...hopefully you can read it...I just love my kids...too cute!

Last minute Christmas arrangement I decided to put together...luckily the florist was still open so I could grap some fun berries and fillers to add in with left over Christmas tree branches. It looked so fresh and pretty for Christmas Eve Dinner! And on that note...so sad that I didn't take pictures of that night...we had Enoch's two brother's families over for dinner (well minus Cami and baby, she was home sick...missed you!) I have got to be better about whipping that camera out...I guess that can be a new years resolution...to capture more memories on camera!

PREGNANCY

Wow! How easy it is to forget the not so enjoyable things about pregnancy! I have been so sick so far with this pregnancy...I have been sick with all three previous pregnancies...but wow being in your thirties versus your twenties is way more difficult. I have my first doctor's appointment tommorow...I am excited...if my calculations are correct I am about 10 to 11 weeks along. Tomorrow it should be confirmed...and I should be able to hear a heartbeat, which will make this even seem more real! Enoch and I are really excited...he is hoping for a girl and I will be happy with either one. Alex, Whitney and Kaden are all excited to have a baby in the family...it will be so weird having such a big gap between them...I guess I should of tried years ago, but what do you do...I guess this little spirit just want to take its time. :) I am also only going to be working two half days a week...which should be nice! Maybe I'll be able to keep my house a little more organized! I will try to get Christmas pictures uploaded this week. I hope everyone if off to a great start with their new year!
