CRABFEST

Finally...made it out to go crabbing, this was a first time for most of us. We made it an activity while my brother was here. The kids loved it, they were getting such a kick out the crabs. :)

Cousins-Liv & Kaden...they were being so funny, they had lots of fun together! Some other people that were out crabbing, pulled up a starfish and gave it to the kids....

It was a little chilly out there, but really pretty, we were out there while the sun was setting...

Brandon and me...this is probably the biggest crab we caught, I'm sure they are pretty small to most, but for us, just great! We enjoyed our little feast of crablegs...and for those who weren't lovers of seafood...Debbie had made gourmet mac & cheese...which was so yummy!

SWEETWATER CREEK HIKE

My brother Brandon and his family came for a visit from Utah...we had such a great time with them. My sister Brittany and her family came up from Eagle Point while he was visiting and we all went on a hike with our parents and baby sister Kathryn. It was a gorgeous day...we went on a hike to sweetwater creek. The fall leaves were beautiful, everyone loved it...Brandon and I spent a lot of time taking photos of all the beautiful sites.

Me at the top of the hike...Brandon, Alex and I ended up getting behind on the hike due to taking lots of pics....so we had to hurry and run to the top...so we could at least see it...gorgeous!

GOLD & SILVER FALLS + THE FIRE PIT

We went hiking at Silver and Gold Falls out past Allegany a few weeks ago...we really enjoy hiking with the family.

Silver Falls...we've heard that the falls are bigger earlier in the spring and summer versus the fall...but they were still very pretty.

We ended up buying a fire pit this fall, we had to go to two different stores to find one...apparently they really don't sale many this time of the year. We have had so much fun making smores and just hanging out on the back deck visiting at nights. The kids love it and so far it has been a hit when we have company over.
