Taking Kathryn to College

Kathryn spent two weeks with our family until it was time to take her to college...we loaded all her stuff up in the suburban...I don't know how my parents got her stuff to fit in their camry when they drove her out to Utah from Oregon...because we were pretty darn full. We did do some back to school shopping which filled up one row of seats!

It is so crazy that she is in college, when I left for college...she was two years old...that was 16 years ago! I guess we are all getting a little older, I just didn't realize how quick time goes!
Kathryn with one of her roommates Kathleen...luckily Kathryn will already have friends at school! Maybe she won't get too homesick!
Me and Kathryn...I was getting ready to leave her...and I wasn't expecting to cry, but as I was telling her goodbye...my eyes started to well up with tears! I'm sure she appreciated that! Anywho...yes I cried for a good fifteen minutes after leaving my baby sister! If this is what I am like leaving my sister, what is it going to be like when I take my oldest to college? Scarey thought: Five more years and that could happen! Don't think I'm ready for that!

Jeremy went off to kindergarten today. This was his VERY FIRST day of school. I had to wait until I got out to my car to let the tears go. I didn't want him to feel sad or scared. He was so excited. My kids talk about college and their missions all the time. At one point the 3 older ones my all be gone at once... I will so ball like a baby!

Marcee...It is crazy how fast time goes! I shed a few tears the first day of school...Alex is in JR High, Whitney is in Middle School, and Kaden is in 1st grade...I didn't start to cry until I drove away from Kaden's school...and my heart broke a little...we put so much trust in other people, it's a little scarey.
