Finally getting my trip to Oregon posted...seems to be way easier to put pictures on Facebook...but I love having my blog!
Well I was able to go visit my mom and friends in Oregon this September. Enoch was able to take paternity leave which lasted for 3 month...I've never heard of anything for a guy to be off with a 100% pay...So he held the fort down while me and Ashlynn took off to play. She was such a good baby flying also...well hello she pretty much was sleeping all the time only being 6 weeks when we left.
My BFF Nancee came to Portland and picked me and Ashlynn up (THANK YOU)!!!
Destiny was vising her family in Grants Pass so I was able to see her and her new baby! She had her baby a week after I had mine. So it was so fun to see her! Nancee, Destiny and I with our babies went to dinner at Matzukasi (which is always on the list of places to eat at while visiting).
I spent the next several days over in Coquille at my moms...The fist Saturday I was there we went to Bandon (one of my most favorite places...I'm determined to live near there sometime in my life) They were having their annual Cranberry Festival! It was fun to go walk around downtown (tiny) Bandon. And then we drove over to my favorite beach (Facerock)...It was so beautiful...it was I bet close to 80 degrees and no wind...BEAUTIFUL!!! The only problem was there were a ton of flies and that normally isn't a problem...my mom thought it might be due to the warm weather and no wind. I don't know but they were abnoxious! So here are a few pics of Facerock Beach!

These are pictures out by Shore Acres, down at Cape Argo...I thought I woud go walk around down there. Didn't do much of it...I started heading down to the tidepools...as I was walking down, Ashlynn woke up and I needed to feed her...so I snapped a few pics from there. I sat in the car and was feeding her...just enjoying the trees and the smell of the Ocean and I was entertained by this cute little chipmunk(at least that is what I think it was)...It was just scurring around and kind of acting like a spaz!

Ashlynn hanging out at my moms one evening!

During my stay at my moms...my mom managed to clog the kitchen sink garbage disposal. She tried everything she could think of to get it unclogged...but all efforts failed. So Frank tried a few things and it wouldn't unclog...so then they called the plumber and they were able to get it unclogged...but in the process damaged a pipe...so here is Frank in his get up going down to repair the pipe! Yep that's Frank...gotta love him!
I'm not sure what night these pictures were taken...but this is what we sit around acting like...my mom was giving her self her own plastic surgery for her neck...Look no more wrinkles! :) She was killing me!
Here we were singing the primary song...I'm not even sure the real name of it, but it's NO ONE LIKES A FROWNY FACE! (I think she plays with the Nursery kids too much).
CHANGE IT TO A SMILE!!!
Kathryn was working on homework for her online classes...she pretty much worried me about online classes...I was thinking of taking some this winter...but I don't know now! Kathryn was a little frustrated with something and then there is my mom with her HAPPY Smile always trying to cheer you up! I MISS HER RIGHT NOW AS I TYPING THIS!
Mid week I headed back to Grants Pass to visit with some friends...it was so good to see the ones I did. I swear I need a month in GP just to visit and catch up with everyone! Nancee, me and Ashlynn met up with Julee and her little guy to have lunch at the Red Robin. Yummy! Julee is the biggest sweetheart! She was one of my first friends I made when I first moved to GP back in the good old days of 1990...WOW...where does the time go?
My BFF Nancee...always my partner in crime! I'm sad that we don't live closer...thank goodness for awesome cell phone plans that give us the opportunity to talk everyday!
One of the days in GP...Nancee and I just hung out...I think we were up in her room watching Bananza (sp?) and playing with Ashlynn...She kept lifting her head up and looking at Nancee...it was very cute!
I was able to go and visit my grandpa while I was there...he suffered a stroke a little while before I came out. They had just moved him into a nursing home (I can't think if they call them something else) my parents have been friends with the owners for years...so they felt good about it. Didn't know that I was showing so much cleavage (sorry) when picture was being taken!
4 Generations...I love my Grandpa so much...He has such a good sense of humor!
I was able to visit another "first friend" I met Jennifer soon as I started at GP highschool...She is still the lovable Jenn that she always was! Her Daughter Stephanie had fun holding Ashlynn! And while I was there her hubby got home from work...so I was able to visit with him also...just enjoyed seeing good friends!
One of the nights while in GP...my parents came over for a Temple trip...so we had dinner at my Grandpas house...and my Sister Brittany and her hubby Mark and 4 kids came over. Her oldest is 6 months older than Kaden and her two little girls are 5...so cute! I miss being close to them.
Me and Britt with our new babies...Ashlynn and Lauren are about 5 months apart! She is so cute!My In-laws had a Sunday dinner at there home...they had just moved days before...so I appreciate her so much for pulling this together...that way I could see more family. She also picked a bunch of roses from rose bushes I had planted at her other home...she calls them my roses...I thought she was so sweet to have them there! I love roses!
Nephews Trevor and Reed with Neice Harmony
Grandma Riordan with her new little grandbaby!
Grandma and Grandpa and Ashlynn
Back to Beach Grandmas...just Chilling!
Kathryn and I (with baby of course) hiked into Shore Acres...It is a beautiful hike...the weather was amazing...it hit near 90 that day...and again no wind. Honestly I was looking forward to cooler temps...GP was a little toasty...so I was ready for like 70 :)

I think this is such a pretty picture of Kathryn and Ashlynn
And this was pretty funny...my mom had done this pose before...so Kathryn thought she would reinact it!

Stopped by and visited with Tom Olive and his wife Liz...who live down the road from Bandon...Tom was my family's first hometeacher when we moved to Grants Pass. It was fun to visit with them!
Beach Grandma and Ashlynn hanging out
Out to dinner at the Cafe Meditteranean...SO GOOD...it's in North Bend...highly recommend this place! So Delicious!
LAST WALK on the beach for a while...Sigh...Ashlynn and I went on a nice walk (the wind was blowing...but it was warm and beautiful). This is at Facerock Beach again...I just love it!

I love looking at the little stones that wash in from the ocean...I always pick up a couple white or black stones when I'm walking and I have a special glass vase they go in at home.
This Hydrangea bush at my moms was admired every morning while I was at her house during my morning "hot tub time".
Not only were the flowers admired...I was quite amazed at some spider webs that were around...I would notice them especially when the sun was out...it would make them almost sparkle...I don't like spiders...but I enjoyed watching them for some reason. I kept waiting for a spider to jump at me. There are two webs in this photo...I don't know if you can see them very good...but they are there!
I was for sure thinking this spider was going to attack me! :)
Me, Ashlynn and my mom on her back porch...We literally were getting ready to get into the car and head to Eugene to have Dinner with Grandpa and Grandma Hladky and Frank's brother Mark. It was good to see them and visit. Slept there and drove to Portland the next morning to put me and the baby on plane and send me back to my husband who was desperate for me to get home...ok...and I was missing him too! :D
